Elaine Yuko Qualter is a Conspirator with dog & pony dc and an artist, mother, urban homesteader, yogini and lover of life. With dog & pony dc she has performed in Party On, Beertown, Toast, and the workshop of A Killing Game.
Elaine has worked as a teaching artist for several local theaters including Round House Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, and theatreWashington. Her administrative positions include Education Manager for the Washington Theatre Legacy Project at the Helen Hayes Awards and Executive Assistant at New WORLD Theater. Elaine has performed in various theater projects around the country including: Trojan Women at the Capital Fringe Festival, The Little Prince at Round House Theatre, Silk at the Goodman Theatre, Pericles at Shakespeare Theatre Company, Burial at Thebes and The Golden Fleece with Referendum: Political Arts Collective, Measure for Measure, As You Like It, and The Winter’s Tale at Hampshire Shakespeare Company, and Les Miserables in Concert at Scera Theater Company.
Elaine received her BA in Theater from Brigham Young University and her MA in English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Besides indulging in her love of theater, Elaine also enjoys knitting, gardening, reading, and adventuring with her husband and their four children.
