Tosin Olufolabi is an up and coming designer and performer new to the DMV area. Trained at the University of Richmond she began professionally sound designing at the School of Performing Arts in the Richmond Community with their productions of The Addams Family, Once Upon A Mattress and The Music Man. Between school years she was the audio intern at two regional theaters, Berkshire Theatre Group and Barrington Stage Company. After graduating, she performed and designed at local theaters in North Carolina. This is when she was introduced to dog & pony dc. She performed as MJ in their production of Beertown in Raleigh NC. Then she was selected as the 2016 – 2017 sound apprentice for Olney Theatre Center where she assistant designed Proof. Since the end of her apprenticeship, she has assistant designed for Theater Alliance, designed a show for the Capital Fringe Festival and is now a company member of dog & pony dc.
